REVERIE

reverie |ˈrev(ə)rē| noun a state of being pleasantly lost in one's thoughts; a daydream

Dark, sleek, sexy, modern with function, that is what comes up for me when I think of Reverie. A hair brand developed by California stylist, Garrett Markenson, who created a line so chic and so pure, it's the perfect bridge to a non-toxic lifestyle for anyone with sophisticated taste. Sourcing organic ingredients from all around the world, even supporting 5th generation farmers, the quality and authenticity stand tall against other brands.

It's also impressive to see that Garrett has an affinity for the finer things in life like art and travel. On his site, you can find art guides and city guides to some of the most beautiful places in the world. His site also features wonderful interview series with other stylists.  I love to visit his site and recommend it to anyone searching for internet gems. I approve of it all!

Products are formulated without Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Silicones, Phthalates, Parabens, Glycols, Petrochemicals, Artificial Fragrance, Dyes,  Animal Derivatives, T.E.A, D.E.A.  All REVERIE products are vegan, Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free, and gluten free.

Product Review

Recovery Hair Oil | This leave in treatment is amazing for all hair types including fine hair like mine. I struggle with products weighing down my hair because of my hair density (or lack there of), and this one leaves it feeling soft, but still voluminous which is so important. The active ingredients are coconuts, olives, and almonds, as well as 16 essential oils. Besides being a great working product, the smell is amazing and puts me in a good mood. I really struggle with frizz, so I was very excited to try this product solely based on that, and I was pleasantly surprised with the results related to frizz as well as all of the other benefits. I put it in my hair after I towel dry it and either let it dry naturally or blow dry it in.

Milk Nourishing Treatment | With highlighted hair, hair oil is my best friend. I use this oil on both damp and dry hair. I even use it as an over night hair mask or at the gym as a leave in. My hair has transformed with this product. It feels so strong and healthy which has not been the case for quite a while. The Marula oil in combination with Crambe Abyssinica give the oil the ability to penetrate the hair resulting in smooth shiny locks!
